The application to Stroud District Council for planning permission to convert Stanley Mill, Stroud, a 200-year-old Grade I listed textile mill in Stonehouse which closed 20 years ago, to include up to 135 apartments and houses, a new factory building and parking (planning ref :S.10/0881/LBC) was reported in Rescue News 111.
Despite representations against the plans from statutory consultees including the CBA and other conservation bodies, but apparently with the support of English Heritage, the plans have now been approved by Stroud District Council.
