Rescue AGM 2024

Rethinking Historic and Natural Landscapes
and Their Management

The presentations from the AGM open meeting at Verulamium Museum on 11th May 2024 can now be seen below on YouTube

The day started with the formal part of the AGM for Rescue members.  Then we moved into the open part of the meeting, on the theme of “Rethinking Historic and Natural Landscapes”. The talks were by Rosalind Niblett (former St. Albans archaeological advisor), Jude Plouviez (RESCUE), Martin Brown (Tetra Tech Europe) and Michael Poole (Hertfordshire County Council), with question and answer sessions after Ros and Jude and then at the end.

Following this very informative and thought provoking session, attendees were treated to a walking tour of parts of Roman St Albans, lead by Verulamium Museum Curator David Thorold.  To round off the day, there was a chance for Rescue members to connect in the nearby pub, Ye Old Fighting Cocks.

Papers for the business AGM are below.
