RESCUE, The British Archaeological Trust, have recently written to Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to express concern over the decision to close Cynon Valley Museum and Gallery, Aberdare, in the face of overwhelming public support for it remaining open. That there is evidence for significant support against the proposed closure of the museum shows just how much heritage and access to arts and cultural facilities are valued by communities.
